Little Lovers

Crafted by hand in the North Yorkshire hills, Little Lovers is a brand of ceramic jewellery and decorative wares made by me, Kate Lovery. Using natural materials, genuine stones, glass beads and non-toxic glazes, designs are produced in small batches so that collections can evolve each season.

My love of vintage and retro ceramics started at a young age and I went on to study Ceramic Design at Harrogate College. Whilst experimenting with small intricate work I developed my first porcelain jewellery collection which launched in 2018.

I take inspiration from vintage shapes and colours, landscapes and the natural environment. Everything is handmade in my studio - from colouring clay and hand polishing each shape to decorating with metallic lustres, making every earing wire, and constructing necklace chains. As a natural product, clay doesn't add to plastic production for the purpose of fashion. My designs are intended to be classic pieces you will love and wear for years to come. In that sense they become more sustainable over time. Every piece is made with great care, premium materials and a lot of love.
